Project Overview
Design and installation of architectural shade sails for the AFL Girls Academy sporting facility at Redlynch. The project provided essential sun protection for spectators and players across the outdoor training and event areas.
The Challenge
The facility needed shade coverage over spectator areas that could withstand high winds common in the Redlynch valley corridor while providing maximum UV protection for athletes and families during training sessions and game days.
Our Solution
A series of interconnected shade sails were designed in a dynamic configuration that complements the sporting environment. Heavy-duty fixing points and tensioning systems were engineered for the local wind conditions.
